Meet Julie Olsen

Julie Olsen is a 12-year resident of Santa Clarita and lives and works in Valencia with her husband, Robert, and their son, a third-grade student in the Saugus district. 

A corporate learning professional and active parent leader, Julie offers the knowledge and passion it's going to take to restore the Saugus district's position as the top performing district in the Santa Clarita Valley.

Professional Background

Julie is a leader in a "Big 4" consulting firm's award-winning Learning & Development division - a three-time #1 ranked learning organization by Training Magazine. She oversees the implementation of large-scale training initiatives that develop thousands of business professionals' technical and leadership skills, year-round.

Julie's 25-year career includes experience as a curriculum designer/developer, instructor, change management consultant, project manager, and operations leader. 

Julie has also successfully managed profitable, multimillion-dollar corporate education centers throughout North America for a global technology firm.

Julie earned a BA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from The University of Connecticut with distinction as a New England Scholar. Julie also has been certified in business analysis tools, team-based learning and other learning methods, facilitation/instruction, and faith-based ministry.
